Monitor Hurricane Status Reporting System for Continuous Updates

EHCMA Member Companies:

As you all have learned by now, Harvey has been upgraded to a Category 1 hurricane. The National Hurricane Center and NWS are reporting Hurricane Harvey will likely reach Category 3 by landfall. This is a very dynamic and extremely dangerous storm, possibly unlike any we’ve ever seen in Harris County and Texas Coastal Bend, according to the Harris County Flood Control District. I am URGING all Hurricane Status Reporting System (HSRS) users to constantly monitor the site for ongoing messages from the Harris County EOC and other emergency management offices. We are posting local and State updates as we receive them.

As always, if you have unmet needs that I can assist with, please do not hesitate to call.

Stay safe!!!
