EHCMA Members:
Attached below and posted to the EHCMA Members Only web site on the COVID-19 page are several documents or links from our industry and community partners.
- The first is a CISA cyber security alert sent to us from Harris County Office of Emergency Management and Homeland Security.
- The second is a letter sent to elected officials and community partners from the Texas Chemical Council that outlines what many members are doing to operate safely and manage a healthy work environment, according to CDC guidelines. The TCC letter highlights products originating from our industry and demonstrates why the chemical industry is designated essential infrastructure critical to the US COVID-19 response.
- The third is a status update from Houston Area Safety Council, which as an essential training supplier to industry, is operational and implementing similar healthy work environment practices. HASC reminds EHCMA that HASC is there to serve us.
- The fourth is a link to Port Houston’s web site about steps Port Houston is taking to operate safely, protect its employees and continue trade through our Port.
EHCMA has received positive feedback on our COVID-19 communication. While we are only sending emails with alerts and time-sensitive information, we regularly post other important information to the Members only and Public pages. We are also posting stories of how member companies are helping our community. Please let us know about your community outreach so that we can share your stories.
