LyondellBasell has determined to cease operations of its Houston Refinery no later than December 31, 2023. 

In the interim, the Company will continue serving the fuels market, which is expected to remain strong in the near-term. Safety will continue to be our highest priority, and we will continue to meet all regulatory and internal safety requirements. 

We recognize that this decision affects our refinery employees, their families and community and we are committed to supporting our people through this transition.
