We are at the peak of hurricane season and with possible storm activity coming our way, it is important to be prepared. We recently distributed an important message from the Operations Section of the Harris County Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management. In case you didn’t see it, please be sure to review by clicking on OHSEM Informational Letter.
In addition, we shared the best practices document and links below early this summer and are redistributing for easy reference. Please feel free to contact the EHCMA office or members of the OHSEM team (noted in their letter) with any questions.
The following links contain information on storm-proofing, preparedness and supplies to keep on hand. The first link offers a report prepared by Rod Herrick, Chair, EHCMA Board of Directors, which is especially helpful to plant managers and others focused on process safety before, during and after a hurricane. We welcome you to access any of these links to ensure a safe environment at work and home.
