Helicopter Overflight Concerns

No Picture

All,

I have received several inquiries the last couple of days regarding low-flying helicopters. I learned yesterday they are described as military assets possibly engaged in an exercise; Chinooks and Black Hawks. I have been in contact with USCG Air Station Houston, 147th Air Wing Ellington Air Field, DHS PSAs, and have a call into Air National Guard, Austin. At this time, the contacts I have made have no knowledge of any type of mission activities around the Houston Ship Channel. Our partners at DHS are continuing to reach out to their contacts at the State to see what they can learn.

Please advise us if these overflights continue. As always, it’s important and most helpful if plaintiffs can provide us a description, tail number, and/or photo with each low-flying aircraft report.

I’ll advise if we receive any additional information.
