The weather forecasts ended up being accurate with only minimal impacts in Harris County. As expected, minor icy patches on a few overpasses and exit/entrance ramps developed throughout the night. There were no widespread power outages in Harris County or across the State of Texas. CenterPoint Energy reported only incidental power outages throughout the night and the ERCOT electric grid remained at normal operating conditions.
The threat of winter weather has diminished and the county will begin to warm up today, with temperatures reaching the upper 30s. Forecasts show another light freeze for Harris County tonight, but with no rain in the forecast, impacts are very unlikely. Temperatures will remain moderate over the next week with no serious threats on the immediate horizon.
Overnight a total of 12 locations were identified by Houston TranStar as having minor icy conditions, all of which have been cleared. These included:

- WESTPARK TOLLWAY @ WESTHEIMER
- 290 @ BW 8
- 290 @ SH 6
- I-10 @ BW 8
- WESTPARK TOLLWAY @ I-69
- I-69 @ BW 8
- WESTPARK TOLLWAY @ ELDRIDGE
- 610 @ HARDY TOLL ROAD
- 610 @ PORT OF HOUSTON
