EHCMA leadership is sharing the Texas Chemical Council/ACIT member alert with cancellations and postponement of its meetings due to the COVID-19 situation. We should note that all EHCMA meetings through the end of March either have been postponed are will be conducted as web/conference meetings. EHCMA will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation and inform members of any additional meetings that should be postponed or conducted remotely during April. Our industry is a leader in health and safety and EHCMA’s actions will reflect health and safety precautions consistent with our members core values.

TCC & ACIT Events Cancelled or Postponed due to COVID-19 (coronavirus)
Governor Abbott declares Statewide Public Health Disaster
The health and safety of our staff, members and the general public is our highest priority. TCC has been closely monitoring the COVID-19 (coronavirus) situation and taking guidance from local, state, and federal health authorities. In addition, many of our member companies have implemented pandemic plans that include travel restrictions and restrictions on attendance at non-critical events.
With the current information and recommended guidance by health authorities, TCC has cancelled all TCC and ACIT events through May 31, 2020.
• The ACIT South Texas Golf Tournament (scheduled for March 23, 2020) is POSTPONED
• The ACIT Golden Triangle Crawfish Boil (scheduled for May 20, 2020) is CANCELLED
Texas-Louisiana EHS Seminar (June 1-4, 2020)
The Texas-Louisiana Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Seminar currently remains scheduled for June 1-4, 2020.
TCC will continue to closely monitor all guidance from health authorities and will make a final determination in the next few weeks.
TODAY- Texas Governor Greg Abbott declares a Statewide Public Health Disaster resulting form the coronavirus. We will be getting more details about this declaration and its impact to TCC, ACIT or our member companies.
