ATTENTION:  Total Closure of the Northbound and Southbound Mainlanes on the
East Sam Houston Tollway This Weekend. 

There will be a total closure of the northbound and southbound mainlanes between SH-225 and Fairmont Pkwy on the
East Sam Houston Tollway beginning 
Friday, December 4 at 10 p.m. through Saturday, December 5 at 10 p.m.

  • The northbound Fairmont, Spencer and Red Bluff entrance ramps will be closed.
  • The southbound SH-225, Pasadena and Spencer entrance ramps will be closed.

Additional Closure Information:

  • The northbound Red Bluff entrance ramp will reopen Saturday, December 5 at 10 a.m.
  • The southbound Red Bluff exit ramp will reopen Saturday, December 5 at 10 a.m.
  • The northbound and southbound mainlanes between SH-225 and Red Bluff Rd. will reopen Saturday, December 5 at 10 a.m.

Detour:

  • Drivers traveling northbound will be detoured to the frontage road using the Fairmont exit ramp. Northbound traffic may re-enter the tollway using the SH-225 entrance ramp from Friday, December 4 at 10 p.m. to Saturday, December 5 at 10 a.m., and may use the Red Bluff entrance ramp to re-enter the tollway beginning Saturday, December 5 at 10 a.m.
  • Drivers traveling southbound will be detoured to the frontage road using the SH-225 exit ramp beginning Saturday, December 5 at midnight until 10 a.m. Southbound traffic may re-enter the tollway using the Fairmont entrance ramp.
  • Drivers traveling southbound will be detoured to the frontage road using the Red Bluff exit ramp beginning Saturday, December 5 at 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. Southbound traffic may re-enter the tollway using the Fairmont entrance ramp.
